Moto G55, Moto G35: what’s new
The Moto G55 will succeed the Moto G54, which is already on sale in most markets. The handset has the same display size, resolution and the refresh rate. The processor section gets an improvement as the Dimensity 7020 on the G54 is replaced with the Dimensity 7025. The rear and front camera setup remains unchanged too. However, the battery department sees a downgrade as the 6,000mAh battery is cut down to 5,000mAh cell.
On the other hand, the Moto G35 succeeds the Moto G34. The successor brings a larger 6.72-inch display compared to the 6.5-inch panel on the predecessor. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC on the G34 is replaced with the Unisoc T760 chipset. How this impacts the performance is something we need to see. While the primary camera remains unchanged, the secondary sensor sees an upgrade from a 2MP unit to an 8MP lens. The battery capacity is the same at 5000mAh.
