Highlights
  • ZOTAC has launched its new range of graphic cards based on the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti and the 5070
  • All the new GPUs feature a solid metal backplate
  • These GPUs also come with a safety light that disconnects on improper seating of the GPU cable

While NVIDIA launched its much anticipated RTX 5000 series, its board partners have amped up the game with new designs and refreshed looks. Zotac, the Hong Kong-based hardware manufacturer has unveiled its flavour of the NVIDIA RTX 5000 series GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture.

The GPUs will be available in two basic models, the AMP Extreme Infinity and SOLID (OC) models from the company. Both the GPUs come with an Ice Storm 3.0 cooling system, with up to a 34 percent larger vapour cooling chamber compared to the previous generation, and newer composite heat pipes for better cooling.

Both the models also feature Automatic Fan Stop which controls fan speed according to load for better acoustic management. On the RTX 5090 models, both of them will come with Active Fan Control 2.0, which allows to control of all three fans independently giving more freedom to users in terms of thermal performance.

These new GPUs also come with a Dual BIOS function, which will help users instantly switch between performance and quiet mode with the press of a button, or through the Firestorm software.

In terms of design, The AMP Extreme INFINITY has an infinity mirror design, while the SOLID has a more no-frills look. In terms of Lighting, The AMP Extreme INFINITY has a customizable tri-zone version of Zotac’s SPECTRA 2.0 ARGB lighting system. The SOLID and SOLID OC cards have a reduced amount of the same lighting but still support SPECTRA LINK syncing, which connects the motherboard to the GPU and sync the lighting on both ends of the system.
