Vivo X200, X200 Pro global launch teased
- Vivo on Facebook announced that the X200 and X200 Pro smartphones are launching in Malaysia soon.
- The Vivo X200 series will be available in Titanium Gray, Aurora Green, and Midnight Black colour options. The Aurora Green and Titanium Gray are new colours for the X200 and X200 Pro models.
- There’s no mention of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini suggesting that it will most likely not launch outside of China.
- 91mobiles had also reported about the Vivo X200 series launching in India by the end of this month or early November but not the Pro Mini model.
The Vivo Malaysia website has also listed the products along with key specifications of each device (via GizmoChina). The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro will be available in a single 16GB + 512GB variant. Both phones will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset with 16GB virtual RAM.
The Vivo X200 will come with a Zeiss telephoto camera, a Vivo V2 chip, a 5,800mAh BlueVolt battery, and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance. The Pro model has a 200MP telephoto camera with 4K cinematic portrait video recording, a Vivo V3+ chip, and a 6,000mAh BlueVolt battery.
Both phones will also come with NFC and 90W fast charging support. These specifications are the same as the Chinese variants so the rest shouldn’t be any different. With the global and India launch anticipated, Vivo is expected to announce the release date soon.
The predecessors, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, launched in India in January this year, starting at Rs 63,999.
