Vivo V2429A spotted on TENAA again with key specifications | Tech Tips
91mobiles has spotted Vivo V2429A again on TENAA and this time we learn about its display, processor, connectivity, memory, camera and other specs. The display specs, in particular, suggest this could be a single-screen phone, contrary to the belief that it was related to the Vivo X Fold (model number V2429). So, while we await more concrete evidence linking the model number to a moniker, here’s what the new TENAA listing reveals:
Vivo V2429A display specs
The TENAA listing shows details of only one display, suggesting it’s not a foldable. It’s a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 2800×1260 resolution and 1073.74 million colour depth.
If it was a folding phone, the listing would have shown Display 2 specs too. In our experience deciphering TENAA listings, non-fold phones show just the Display 1 specs. So, this suggests, the Vivo V2429A may not be a folding phone (Vivo X Fold 4), as previously speculated on the basis of the similarity of the model number and tipped battery size.
Since the model number is in the same pattern as Vivo S19’s V2364A model number, we wonder if it’s the Vivo S19 successor, likely called Vivo S20. In time, we will know.
