Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G bags FCC certification revealing design and key details | Tech Tips
Tecno is working on the Camon 40 series smartphones that is expected to consist of multiple models. The Camon 40 Pro 4G was spotted on TUV Rheinland certification earlier this month and also on IMEI database that confirmed its moniker. Now, it has bagged FCC certification revealing some key details of the upcoming offering. These include the phone’s design, dimensions, connectivity options, and more.
Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G FCC listing
- The Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G is listed (via) with model number CM6 on FCC website.
- As per the schematic render, the upcoming offering will have three vertically stacked camera rings on the left side of the back panel.
- This will be a design change compared to the circular camera module on the entire Camon 30 series.
- Dimensions-wise, the smartphone will measure 165 x 75 x 7 mm.
- The Camon 40 Pro 4G is listed with a 5,100mAh battery unit and an adapter with model number U450TSB. The latter supports 45W fast charging.
- The device will come in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. We can expect more options at launch.
- As per FCC, the Camon 40 Pro 4G will support LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, and NFC connectivity.
- The LTE network will use 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 38, 41, and 66 bands.
We can expect the rest of the details of the Camon 40 Pro 4G to surface in the near future. Tecno did not announce the Camon 30 Pro in 4G version and instead only a 5G variant is available. The Camon 30 series was unveiled at MWC in February this year, so we can expect the brand to launch the Camon 40 series at the same time. Only the Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier 5G arrived in India at a starting price tag of Rs 22,999.
Meanwhile, the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G was spotted on Geekbench with 8GB RAM, Android 15 OS, and a Dimensity 7300 processor.
