Redmi Turbo 4 specifications leak out; tipped to be rebranded globally as POCO F7 | Tech Tips
The rumoured design of the Redmi Turbo 4 was recently surfaced through a leak. Now, a new tip suggests the specifications, including display, chipset, battery, and more, of the yet-to-be-launched Redmi phone.
Notably, the Redmi Turbo 4 has been tipped once again to be rebranded as the POCO F7 for global users. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be the successor to the Redmi Turbo 3, which went official globally as the POCO F6.
Redmi Turbo 4 specifications tipped
- Display: Tipster Experience More on Weibo posted that the Redmi Turbo 4 will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display similar to the predecessor. Notably, the Turbo 3 has a 120Hz display, and we can expect the same from the Turbo 4.
- Chipset: The Redmi Turbo 4 is anticipated to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC, an enhanced variant of the Dimensity 8400, which is yet to be announced. To recall, the Turbo 4 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
- Rear cameras: The upcoming Redmi phone will sport a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor, which is similar to the Turbo 3. However, the predecessor incorporates an IMX882 main sensor with OIS.
- Front camera: For selfies and video calls, the Turbo 4 might be equipped with a 20MP sensor like the Turbo 3, as per the tipster.
- Battery: While the Redmi Turbo 3 packs a 5,000mAh battery, the successor Redmi phone is tipped to offer a larger 6,550mAh battery. However, the wired fast-charging support, which is 90W.
- Build and materials: The tipster mentions that the Turbo 4 will feature a plastic middle frame with a glass back cover and a short-focus fingerprint.
Furthermore, the tipster also notes that the Redmi K70e and Redmi Turbo 3 were rebranded as the POCO X6 Pro and POCO F6 for global markets. Similarly, the upcoming Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro are expected to be launched as the Poco F7 and Poco X7 Pro in global markets.
Redmi Turbo 4: what to expect?
The Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to be launched in China next month following the announcement of the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. Meanwhile, the recently leaked image suggests that the phone will come in a Gray colour option.
The Turbo 4 is anticipated to feature a central punch hole cutout with thin symmetrical bezels and a flat display. Meanwhile, the back panel has dual sensors placed vertically with camera rings. The volume and power keys are placed on the right side.
