Redmi tipped to launch gaming tablet with Snapdragon 8-series chipset | Tech Tips
Redmi Pad SE, Redmi Pad SE 4G, and Redmi Pad Pro with 5G and Wi-Fi were announced in India this year. However, a new tip suggests that the brand is working on a gaming tablet. While the company hasn’t revealed any details yet, the tipster has mentioned the chipset and a few other details of the tablet, which are mentioned below.
Redmi gaming tablet is said to be in the works
- Through Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared details regarding the alleged gaming tablet by Redmi.
- The tablet will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series chipset and perform better than other large tablets, most likely the Redmi Pad Pro.
Apart from this, the tipster hasn’t shared any details regarding the yet-to-be-launched gaming tablet. However, it is worth noting that, the tipster recently mentioned that Redmi is developing a flagship tablet with a compact design and an LCD screen. It looks like DCS was talking about the same tablet. However, that’s not clear yet.
Additionally, the tipster did not specify which chipset it would be. Still, we think it might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, as it is said to be a good chipset for gaming and also powers the iQOO Neo 9s Pro+ and Realme GT 6, among several others. However, it’s not concrete and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
While there are no other details available regarding the upcoming Redmi gaming tablet, it might offer similar specs to the recently announced Red Magic Nova tablet. It has a 10.9-inch 144Hz display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version SoC, 50MP rear camera, a 20MP selfie camera, and a 10,100mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. However, the exact details regarding the Redmi gaming tablet are expected to emerge in the coming days. Stay tuned for more updates.
