Redmi A3 Pro is a new budget phone from Xiaomi that was made official in Kenya last week. It looks like the Redmi A3 Pro might launch in other markets soon as the smartphone has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website. The Redmi A3 Pro also appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14C that was launched in August this year.
Redmi A3 Pro gets Bluetooth SIG certified
- Redmi A3 Pro has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website (via TheTechOutlook) with the model number 2409BRN2CG.
- The Bluetooth SIG listing reveals the name of the device and the model number as well.
- While it doesn’t confirm anything else, it does suggest an imminent global launch.
- The Redmi A3 Pro was made official in Kenya last week through Xiaomi Kenya’s official handle on X.
- The post included details about the Redmi A3 Pro’s key specifications, price, and design. However, the phone isn’t listed on the Xiaomi Kenya website yet.
Xiaomi has yet to announce the launch of the Redmi A3 Pro for other markets. Since we know the phone’s specifications already, here’s what to expect from the Redmi A3 Pro.
Redmi A3 Pro specifications
- Redmi A3 Pro features a 6.88-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
- The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. You can expand it up to 8GB RAM with memory extension.
- Redmi A3 Pro has a 50MP AI dual camera at the back but the secondary sensor hasn’t been specified.
- The smartphone also packs a 5,160mAh battery and it runs Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box.
- With the Redmi A3 Pro, you also get a fingerprint sensor and face unlock.

In Kenya, the Redmi A3 Pro costs KES 12,499 (Rs 8,061 approx) for the single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in two colour options: Blue and Black. As mentioned above, the Redmi A3 Pro shares the same specifications as the Redmi 14C, which is also available in Kenya. So it’s not clear what exactly Xiaomi’s strategy is here and how it plans to market these phones.
