Redmi 14C 5G to launch in India on January 6th, Amazon and Flipkart availability confirmed | Tech Tips

Redmi has been teasing the launch of its upcoming smartphone for the last few days. Now, the Xiaomi sub-brand has officially announced the launch date of the Redmi 14C 5G. It will be arriving as the successor to the Redmi 13C 5G that debuted in the country last December. Both Flipkart and Amazon have put up a microsite confirming the smartphone’s availability on the e-commerce platforms respectively. 

Redmi 14C 5G India launch confirmed

• The Redmi 14C 5G is confirmed to launch in India on January 6th, Monday. 
• As per the microsite, the smartphone will come in three colour options with a circular camera island and a flat frame with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. 
• The upcoming offering will be available in three colour options i.e. Purple with gradient finish, Black, and Blue with star trails-like design. 
• The camera module houses two sensors headlined by a 50MP main snapper. 
• The Redmi 14C 5G is teased to come with dual 5G SIM support. This will offer up to 2.5Gbps speeds, fast downloads, lag-free video calling, and smooth livestreaming. 
• The brand will be revealing more details about the upcoming offering in the days leading up to the launch event. 

To recall, the Redmi 13C 5G was launched at a starting price tag of Rs 10,999. The Indian model of its successor was spotted on Geekbench with 8GB RAM, a possible Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, and Android 14.

The Redmi 14C 5G is expected to be rebranded version of the Redmi 14R 5G that released in China this September. The latter features a 6.8-inch 120Hz HD+ display and a 5,160mAh battery unit with support for 18W charging. The China model has a 13MP main rear camera which is different from the confirmed sensor on the Indian variant.
