Redmi 14C 5G is confirmed to launch in India on January 6th and will be a new entrant in the company’s budget segment. The company has been teasing the features of the phone, where it confirmed the display and colour options of the phone. While we wait for the launch, the Redmi 14C price details have surfaced in a new leak.

• Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the Redmi 14C will have an MRP of Rs 13,999 for the variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
• This suggests the actual selling price of the phone could be Rs 10,999 or Rs 11,999. 
• For comparison, the Redmi 13C 5G launched in India at Rs 10,999 for the base model with 4GB + 128GB, Rs 12,499 for the 6GB + 128GB and Rs 14,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. 
• The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.

Redmi 14C 5G: what we know so far

Redmi 14C 5G will be available via Amazon and there’s a dedicated microsite, which reveals key specifications. The phone features a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. There’s a circular module on the back panel and this houses the camera sensors and an LED flash. The handset has a boxy chassis, with the volume rocker and power button present on the right edge.

The Redmi 14C 5G will be available in Stargaze Black, Stardust Purple and Starlight Blue (premium Starlight design) colours.

• Display: The Redmi 14C 5G is confirmed to sport a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, TUV low-blue light, TUV flicker-free, and TUV Circadian certifications. It is claimed to offer the segment’s most eye-safe display. In comparison, the Redmi 13C featured a 6.74-inch HD+ 90Hz display.
• Battery: There is a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. However, the brand is bundling a 33W adapter in the box. In comparison, the Redmi 13C has a 5000mAh cell and 18W fast charging.
• Cameras: Redmi 14C 5G will feature a 50MP primary camera and a secondary sensor.
• The phone will arrive with an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance up to a certain degree and dual 5G support.
