In June, OPPO Reno 12F 5G debuted in China with a Dimensity 6300 SoC. Now a few months later, OPPO has conjured the Aparecium (reveal!) spell on a new Reno 12F Harry Potter edition. The phone has launched in Peru and comes in a new colour and with a custom accessory kit. Let’s check out how the new phone looks and everything else new you get with this special edition.

• OPPO Reno 12F Harry Potter edition has launched in Peru for 1,599 Sol (about INR 35,455.67).
• In comparison, the regular Reno 12F is available in Cairo (Egypt) for EGP 12,667 (about INR 21,664.63). Both have 12+256GB memory configuration. 

OPPO Reno 12F Harry Potter edition: what’s new

Accessories: The spell-book-shaped box consists of Harry Potter-themed accessories like a capacitive wand, a golden pendant for the phone, a Deathly Hallows-themed SIM ejector pin, and a custom-edition charger.

Design: The phone has a chocolatey brownish gradient colour with a band running in the middle of the rear panel beneath the circular camera panel. This camera ring also has a golden hue which offers a distinct contrast to the rest of the brownish surface. The original phone comes in Olive Green and Amber Orange colours. There is an imprint of Hogwarts and the signature Harry Potter title card (logo). You also have the OPPO logo at the bottom.

• Cameras: On the back of the phone, there is a 50+8+2MP triple rear camera setup, and on the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera.
• Processor: Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It’s an octa-core chip with 6nm architecture, two Cortex-A76 performance cores running at 2.4GHz clock speed and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz frequency.
• Memory: Besides the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, you also get up to 2TB expandable storage support using a microSD card.
• Display: On the front, there is a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate.
• Battery: The phone is kept alive with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

There are no details on the India availability of the OPPO Reno 12F Harry Potter Edition.
