Those who intend to buy these iPhones don’t have to wait long as the Apple event is just days from now. Well, Android users, don’t worry. Per a newly leaked image, you could soon have a similar feature on the forthcoming OPPO Find X8 series called the Quick Button!
Here’s what it looks like:
OPPO Find X8 series Capture Button (rumour)
According to an image shared by tipster Ice Universe, the OPPO Find X8 series could sport a button on the bottom right side called Quick Button. Beneath the Quick Button moniker, we see the phrase “Freeze the action, one click away.” This could mean a tap on the button hits the shutter and takes a photo, thus freezing an action at that point in time.
After a little digging on the web, we came across the following image:
From this, we gather the OPPO Find X8 Quick Button could bring the following features:
Camera Mode: Tap the Quick Button to take a photo, long-press the button to shoot a video, and swipe across the button to slide zoom in/out.
Picture Viewing Mode: Possibly when you are in the gallery, you could swipe across the button to preview the pics.
Besides the photo-videography features, you could use the button while gaming:
Game Mode: Tap the button to shoot down opponents in FPS games. A long press on this in-game trigger to start a continuous shoot.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 series Capture Button is also rumoured to be a capacitive button on the bottom right side frame of the upcoming iPhones. This could also be useful for quickly accessing various camera controls especially when you hold the device horizontally.
On one hand, OPPO seems to have preempted the Apple announcement, but we are yet to see the actual implementation by both parties and how well they work. So, we’ll reserve our judgment until we use them.
