OnePlus Ace 5 design revealed, will feature ceramic body with metal middle frame | Tech Tips

OnePlus Ace 5 series has been officially confirmed to launch in China next month. It will include two phones: the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. The launch date has yet to be announced and OnePlus hasn’t revealed much about the phones. However, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the first official look of the OnePlus Ace 5. It includes details about the OnePlus Ace 5’s design. 

OnePlus Ace 5 first look

• OnePlus Ace 5 has also gone through a design change like the OnePlus 13. The smartphone has a flat display and edges giving it a very sleek look and finish.
• The circular camera module is also the same as the OnePlus 13. The alert slider is on the left side of the phone.
• OnePlus Ace 5 can be seen in green colour but it’s expected to launch in more shades.
• The tipster further said that the OnePlus Ace 5 will feature a crystal shield glass, a metal middle frame, and a ceramic body. OnePlus Ace 5 is also said to be the only model in the mid-range category using a ceramic body.

OnePlus Ace 5 specifications: what to expect

OnePlus Ace 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. According to DCS, this phone’s power consumption will be close to the gaming performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which will power the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. 

OnePlus Ace 5 is tipped to pack a 6,300mAh battery, an upgrade over the Ace 3’s 5,500mAh battery. The smartphone will most likely continue with 100W fast charging support. It’s also tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display and a 50MP triple rear camera setup. 

With the OnePlus Ace 5 launching in China next month, we can expect the phone to arrive in global markets including India by January 2025. Globally it would launch as the OnePlus 13R and it’s expected to debut alongside the OnePlus 13 in India. It looks like OnePlus is doing early launches for its premium lineup as the OnePlus 13 also launched earlier than the 12.
