OnePlus is set to launch the OnePlus Ace 5 series, including the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, in China but hasn’t revealed the launch date yet. While the company is expected to announce the date soon, it has come up with the design of the vanilla model.

It is worth noting that the design and key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus phone surfaced online recently through leaks and speculations.Notably, the Ace series is exclusive to China, but the vanilla variant might launch in India as the OnePlus 13R.

• Li Jie, President of OnePlus China on Weibo, posted a couple of images of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5.
• The images show the front of the OnePlus Ace 5, which features a centred hole-punch cutout at the top of the display.
• The bezels around the display of the OnePlus Ace 5 are thin and minimal, offering a sleek design.
• The phone showcases a flat display with icons and UI elements arranged in a standard grid layout.
• The power and volume buttons are located on the right edge of the OnePlus Ace 5.

On the other hand, a recent leak hinted at the back panel of the OnePlus Ace 5. It shows the phone offers a different design compared to its predecessor. The smartphone’s rear panel showcases a circular camera module, similar to the OnePlus 13. Meanwhile, the alert slider is placed on the left edge. It is touted to come with a metal middle frame, a crystal shield glass, along with a ceramic body.

OnePlus Ace 5 chipset details

• The company official also mentioned that the OnePlus Ace 5 will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
• However, the official says the company has optimised the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and that it feels like an upgraded “Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.5.”
• Notably, this is said to offer improved gaming performance with power consumption and thermal management similar to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

OnePlus Ace 5 specifications: what to expect?

• Though not confirmed, the OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X2 8T LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
• The OnePlus Ace 5 might boast a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
• On the front, the OnePlus Ace 5 might offer a 16MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
• The upcoming OnePlus device is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging.
