OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R get TDRA certification; global launch expected soon | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 is expected to make its global debut soon alongside the OnePlus 13R. The flagship phone has already launched in China, while the OnePlus 13R is speculated to launch as the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5’s global variant. Both phones have appeared on the TDRA certification website with their respective monikers suggesting an imminent global launch.

• OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R have been certified by the UAE’s Telecommunications And Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA).
• The certification (via MySmartPrice) mentions the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R monikers confirming that the latter will make it to global markets. The brand has been launching OnePlus Ace models (China) with the ‘R’ branding in other regions. 
• As per TDRA, OnePlus 13 has the model number CPH2653 and OnePlus 13R has the model number CPH2645. 
• The certification doesn’t reveal any other detail but it does suggest we’re getting closer to the OnePlus 13 global launch. 
• If the two phones are launching together then we can expect the launch to take place early next year. OnePlus Ace 5 is tipped to launch in China next month so we might have to wait a little longer.

OnePlus Ace 5 specifications (expected)

• Battery: The smartphone could pack a 6,300mAh battery.
• Processor: OnePlus Ace 5 will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which powers the OnePlus 12.
• OnePlus Ace 5 is tipped to feature a redesigned back panel similar to the OnePlus 13.

There’s no official launch date yet but the OnePlus Ace 5 is tipped to launch in China next year. If true, the OnePlus Ace 5 would be launching earlier than the Ace 3, which debuted in January this year.
