OnePlus 12 receiving new OxygenOS 15 incremental update in India | Tech Tips

OnePlus 12 received the OxygenOS 15 update back in November and introduced various new features, including iOS sharing, new Live Alerts, new Split Mode that separates notifications and a quick toggle section, Private Safe enhancements, smoother animations and more. Now, the company is rolling out a new OxygenOS 15 incremental update to the OnePlus 12 and brings more features and improvements. 

OnePlus 12 new OxygenOS 15 update

The OnePlus 12 OxygenOS 15 incremental update brings the build number OxygenOS 15.0.0.404 and firmware version IN: CPH2573_15.0.0.404(EX01). You can check for the update by heading to Settings > System & Updates > Software update. In the Community Forum, OnePlus says that the update is currently rolling out in India in batches, meaning it will take some time before it hits every unit.

The company also notes that this update is only available for users who have upgraded to OxygenOS 15. 

New features

• The new OxygenOS 15 incremental update brings an AI Reply feature that recommends replies based on the chat context. It supports diverse language styles.
• The new AI check feature checks grammar, punctuation, spelling, typos and more, for more accurate writing.
• There is a new AI rewrite feature to expand, shorten, extend, and edit the text and modify the style.
• There are new countdowns, birthdays, and anniversaries widgets in the Calendar. 
• Communication: The update is said to improve the stability and expand the compatibility of wireless connections.
• Security: The new incremental update brings the December 2024 Android security patch.
• Camera: It also adds Fresh, Emerald, and Clear film filters to Photo mode and Portrait mode. There is also a new personalised watermark feature for the Camera.
• System: The update now enables the ability to view the status of the flashlight and charging information on Live Alerts.
• You can now drag a floating window to change it to full screen. 
• The update fixes a display issue with existing icons on the status bar when a Live Alert capsule is actively displayed.
• The new OxygenOS 15 update improves the system’s stability and extends battery life in certain scenarios.
