NVIDIA has launched a new centralised app for users with NVIDIA GPUs in their PCs or laptops. The app acts as a central hub for crucial tasks like updating GPU drivers, improving gaming performance, accessing in-game overlays, gameplay recording, and more. Let’s take a look at its features and the new games launched this week with DLSS 3 support. 

NVIDIA app: key features

NVIDIA’s new app claims to be more responsive than GeForce Experience, featuring a modernised UI. Here are some of its key features:


  • Home: Quickly access all app features, configure recently used programs, check NVIDIA announcements, and download other NVIDIA apps.
  • NVIDIA Overlay: Redesigned for 4K 120 FPS AV1 video capture, includes AI-powered RTX game filters, a new Gallery for organising videos and screenshots, and a customisable stats overlay to monitor hardware performance.

  • Drivers: A revamped section highlighting “what’s new” and “what’s fixed” using bullet points, a carousel for driver-related articles, plus the option to roll back to previous drivers.
  • Graphics: Access Optimal Playable Settings and NVIDIA Control Panel options in a unified interface for a seamless experience.
  • System: Configure displays, enable G-SYNC, upscale local and streamed videos using AI-powered Video Super Resolution and HDR, tweak GPU performance, and view your rig details.
  • Redeem: Claim GeForce Rewards, including the new GeForce reward for the game Throne and Liberty.
  • Settings: Adjust app language, tweak options, configure notifications, and more.

New games with NVIDIA DLSS 3 support launched this week

NVIDIA has released its new Game Ready driver, with day-one support for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of ChornobylandMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2024. Both titles now benefit from DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution, along with NVIDIA Reflex for lower latency and smoother gameplay. Games like Farming Simulator 25 and Mortal Rite can also experience a performance boost with DLSS Super Resolution or opt for enhanced image quality with DLAA. 

Games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Delta Force, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and Red Dead Redemption also support DLSS 3 since the last Game Ready driver update. You can check out the full list of RTX-enhanced games on NVIDIA’s official website.
