Moto G Power 5G (2025) is believed to be in the works as a successor to the Moto G Power 5G (2024) model that debuted globally earlier this year. Back in August, 91mobiles exclusively shared the render of the phone, showing off the complete design. Now, we have spotted the Moto G Power 5G (2025) on the FCC certification, while the battery and charging adapter appeared on TUV Rheinland and UL Demko certifications. Here’s a rundown of everything that’s revealed from these listings.
The Moto G Power series is a mid-range offering from the brand with focus on battery, fast wired and wireless charging support, and performance.
Moto G Power 5G (2025) appears on various certification platforms
FCC
- The FCC listing mentions the model number XT2515-1, which is believed to be the Moto G Power 5G (2025). The Moto G Power 5G (2024) bears the model number XT2415-1. The ’24’ and ’25’ possibly denote the year.
- Besides the XT2515-1, the FCC document also has XT2515-2, XT2515-3, and XT2515V.
- The listing says that there are four models for different markets and there will be no other differences among them, probably referring to the specifications.
- The Moto G Power 5G (2024) was limited to North American markets. The successor may be expanded to other regions. It’s not clear whether India will be one among them.
- The certification shows the Moto G Power 5G (2025) wireless charging has been tested with a wireless charger during the ‘EUT’ Operation test setup, which is usually a segment where the phone is tested during certification.
- This could mean the phone may come with wireless charging support but the charging speed details are not listed at the moment. For context, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) supports 15W wireless charging.
- The certification confirms connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth BR/EDR/LE, and GNSS/NFC/FM/WPT.
