iQOO Z9 Turbo has been available in China since April of this year. It is a powerful phone with a 6,000mAh battery. Now it is set to get a long battery life edition, purportedly called the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance edition. iQOO has been teasing various features of the phone on Weibo. We have covered some of these specs and design details already and now, the company has disclosed the phone will launch next month. Here’s what the iQOO post tells us:

iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition launch, availability

• iQOO has posted that the Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition will launch in China in January. The exact date is still a mystery.

• It is available for pre-order in China through shop.vivo.com.
• The phone is confirmed to be available in blue, black, and white colour options.
• The other iQOO Z9 Turbo phones haven’t come to India and so we aren’t sure about this one.

iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition specs revealed

• iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition gets the name thanks to a 6,400mAh battery. That’s bigger than the cell within the iQOO Z9 Turbo (6,000mAh). Interestingly, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ model (that launched in China in September) also has a 6,400mAh battery.
• iQOO has mentioned the use of an “ultra-thin blue ocean battery (Chinese translated),” and could be using a silicon-carbon anode like the OnePlus Glacier battery tech. Recently, OnePlus also launched the vanilla Ace 5 with a 6,400mAh battery. The silicon battery tech promises longer battery life, stable voltage supply and faster charging speeds.
• The phone is propelled by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. That’s the same 4nm chip within the iQOO Z9 Turbo. It consists of a Cortex X4 prime core clocked at 3.0 GHz frequency coupled with four Cortex A720 performance cores running at 2.8 GHz and three Cortex A520 efficiency cores tuned at 2.0 GHz.

Rest, the phone is expected to borrow other specifications from the regular iQOO Z9 Turbo. This could include a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits peak brightness, a 50MP+ 8MP rear camera setup, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and 80W fast wired charging support.
