iQOO 13 Q2 gaming chip details revealed, smartphone certified in India and Indonesia | Tech Tips
iQOO 13 is launching in China on October 31st. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has revealed key details about its upcoming flagship with a focus on its gaming performance. The iQOO 13 has also been spotted on the BIS and Indonesia’s SDPPI certification websites. The flagship is confirmed to launch in India as well.
iQOO 13 Q2 gaming chip details
- The iQOO 13 will be equipped with the in-house Q2 gaming chip that brings 2K 144FPS super-resolution and super-frame concurrency.
- The gaming chip is claimed to support PC-level 2K texture super-resolution and native-level 144FPS super frame rate.
- iQOO also revealed that it has tested over 140 games with the 2K 144FPS resolution and frame rate suggesting the phone is equipped to offer high-level gaming in terms of graphics and performance.
- A teaser video of the iQOO 13’s gaming capabilities shows the difference between 720p (HD) and 2K resolution to highlight the upgrade in graphics. It also shows the game being played in 120FPS and 144FPS in the teaser video.

The iQOO 13 was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards and Indonesia’s SDPPI database suggesting the phone’s imminent launch in these countries. It’s worth mentioning that the iQOO 13 India launch has already been teased but its launch date hasn’t been revealed yet.
In addition to the Q2 gaming chip, iQOO has revealed other details about its upcoming flagship. The iQOO 13 is confirmed to pack a 6,150mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The smartphone will feature a new BOE Q10 display with a 2K resolution that was jointly made between the two companies. It will also come with a 144Hz refresh rate and feature the world’s first OLED circularly polarized light eye protection technology.
iQOO 13 is scheduled to launch in China on October 31st. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite making it one of the first phones to feature this chipset. The iQOO 13 is expected to launch in India as early as November since the brand has already started teasing the phone here.
