• Citing tipster Yogesh Brar, a report by Smartprix suggests that the iQOO 13 will be launched in India on December 5th post its unveiling in China at the end of this month.
• The report notes that the phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which is likely a new name for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

iQOO 13 live image leaks

• A recent report suggests the design of the front panel. Meanwhile, the live image of the iQOO 13, posted by tipster DCS on Weibo, highlights the back panel.
• The live image shows the phone’s rear panel is similar to the iQOO 12. But its rear camera panel showcases a light similar to a halo light strip for special effects.

• However, Galant V, an executive from the brand, stated that it does not feature visible light strips but features a different lighting technology.
• More details regarding the light and its functions will be unveiled once the phone is official in China, which is expected to be October 29th.

Notably, the iQOO 13 will launch in China following the announcement of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite/ Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will be unveiled this month. This chipset will also be featured in phones like the OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15.

• Chipset: As mentioned above, the phone will likely pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which will likely be the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which equips the iQOO 12.
• RAM, storage: The phone might come with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
• Rear cameras: The iQOO 13 is anticipated to flaunt a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP Sony IMX826 telephoto camera.
• Battery, charging: The flagship phone might boast an upgraded 6,150mAh battery compared to the 5,000mAh on the iQOO 13. However, the fast charging will likely be downgraded to 100W from 120W.
