Realme’s 320W SuperSonic Charge unveiled

  • Realme said that its 320W SuperSonic Charge can fully charge a smartphone in just four minutes and 30 seconds. The smartphone can reach 26 percent in just one minute, and over 50 percent in less than two minutes.
  • The Realme 320W charger is called ‘Pocket Cannon’ and has dual USB-C ports for simultaneous fast charging. For Realme smartphones, the charger supports 150W and 65W for compatible laptops.
  • Realme says that its 320W charger maintains the same size as its 240W charger despite offering faster charging speeds. Realme launched its 240W fast charging technology with the GT3 smartphone in February last year.
  • The Realme 320W SuperSonic charger is also equipped with an “AirGap” Voltage Transformer that reduces the voltage to 20V for protection against incidents like circuit breakdown. It’s also said to help achieve power efficiency of around 98 percent.

At the event, Realme also unveiled a 4,420mAh folded battery with four individual cells that can be charged simultaneously. With this quad-cell smartphone battery, Realme aims to offer faster charging speeds without compromising on the design. It also unveiled other technologies including a solid-state button for camera shortcuts like instant zoom and quick snaps.

Realme launched what it claims to be the world’s first anti-reflective display for smartphones that is said to minimise reflections by up to 80 percent. It also unveiled an AI Motion Picture technology that can transform a single image into a 25-frame video. Then there’s AI Gaming Super Resolution for ‘silky-smooth, crystal-clear visuals’ and 4D game Vibration that provides customisable haptics for over 100 in-game actions.
