Redmi Turbo 4 China launch date and design were revealed the other day. The phone debuts on January 2nd on its home turf. The new details include the Turbo 4’s battery size and water resistance. Redmi has been divulging details via its Weibo account. The new information includes:

• Redmi Turbo 4 will bear a 6,550mAh battery, which is bigger than the rumoured 6,000mAh cell inside the POCO X7 Pro. Redmi assures the battery’s durability for four years. Its so-called dual-boost cold-resistant chip can withstand -35°C ultra-low temperature.
• If you purchase the phone in the first sale, the brand is offering five years of warranty on the battery.
• The phone is also rated to support IP66+IP68+IP69 dust and water resistance. While IP68 offers water resistance when the phone is immersed up to 1-meter depth, the IP69 rating offers resistance against high-pressure water jets also.
