Alleged OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 6 series battery capacities tipped: 7,000mAh battery expected | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 launched in China last month and it seems the company is reportedly preparing to unveil the OnePlus Ace 5 in China. The phone could be rebranded as OnePlus 13R in global markets, including India. In a new Weibo post, tipster DigitalChatStation has revealed some key details of a few mysterious smartphones. These details include the battery capacities and fast charging speeds. Among the phones, there is one model with a whopping 7,000mAh battery.

Possible OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 6 battery capacity details

• According to the Weibo post, the OnePlus phones are expected to feature battery capacities of 6,500mAh, 6,300mAh, and 6150mAh and these are tipped to have 100W fast charging support.
• He also mentioned there will be a mid-range performance phone with 6850mAh rated/7000mAh typical single-cell battery. If this becomes a reality, it will be the highest battery on a OnePlus phone.

• DCS also mentions a mid-range model with a 5640mAh rated/5750mAh typical battery. This is said to be thin and lightweight.
• While the exact marketing names of the phones are not revealed, they are believed to be OnePlus phones (via TheTechOutLook).
• OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro could be among the phones mentioned and these are rumoured to feature a 6xxxmAh cell.
• The report notes that there are chances the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are likely to be the ones with 6,300mAh and 6,500mAh. This means the phone with 6,150mAh could be the OnePlus Ace 5V.
• This leaves us with a mid-range performance phone with a 6,850mAh rated/7,000mAh typical single-cell battery and a 5,640mAh rated/5,750mAh battery phone that’s lightweight and thin.
• The report opines that the 7,000mAh battery phone could either be the OnePlus Ace 6 or the Ace 6 Pro, while the 5,750mAh phone could be the Ace 6V.
• However, it doesn’t make any sense that Ace 5V will have a 6,150mAh cell while the successor sees a downgrade.

Since these are just based on speculations we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt as it’s too early to talk about OnePlus Ace 6. Going by the past timelines, the vanilla OnePlus Ace 5 will debut first, probably in November or December. This will be followed by Ace 5V and then the Ace 5 Pro in 2025. We still have a lot of time before more details start surfacing about the OnePlus Ace 6 (if that’s indeed what it will be called).
