Mysterious new OnePlus phone appears on BIS, could launch in India soon | Tech Tips

91mobiles has spotted a new OnePlus smartphone on the BIS certification site and Camera-FV as well. Although not confirmed, this could be the upcoming OnePlus 13. OnePlus 13 is the next smartphone to look forward to from the brand and it’s expected to launch this month. This flagship smartphone will be one of the first to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. 

New OnePlus phone spotted on BIS 

• The new OnePlus smartphone has the model number CPH2691 on BIS. The certification confirms the arrival of a new OnePlus phone in India without revealing the device name.
• This could be the upcoming OnePlus 13 but it’s only a speculation for now. Since there’s no other immediate OnePlus phone rumoured to launch soon. 
• The BIS listing suggests an imminent launch for the new OnePlus smartphone. However, the OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in India early next year. 

The same OnePlus smartphone was also spotted on the Camera-FV website giving us an idea of what to expect from its cameras. According to this listing, this OnePlus phone will feature a 12.6MP camera, which would be marketed with a higher megapixel count, probably 50MP. The phone’s rear camera has a 24.6 mm focal length, f/1.9 aperture, and OIS+EIS support. The front camera’s sensor is listed as 4MP with a 25.2 mm focal length and a f/2.4 aperture.

There’s no other information about this OnePlus smartphone as this is the first we’re hearing about it. It’s also not confirmed if this is the OnePlus 13 or not. So far the only upcoming OnePlus phone rumoured is the OnePlus 13, hence the speculation. But it could be from a different series altogether. 

OnePlus 13 is expected to debut this month and we can only expect the phone to arrive in India early next year. This is OnePlus’ flagship phone and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
