The Infinix Zero 40 5G has been officially launched in Malaysia. The new Infinix smartphone comes with a 144Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP primary camera, GoPro mode, and 45W fast charging support. The Infinix Zero 5G also comes with wireless charging support. Infinix has launched the Zero 40 5G smartphone globally and it’s expected to come to India soon. 


Infinix Zero 40 5G price, availability

  • The Infinix Zero 40 5G is priced at RM 1,699 (Rs 32,794 approx) for the single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. 
  • It comes in three colour options: Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black.
  • The smartphone is currently available in Malaysia and it’s expected to launch in India as well. 

Infinix Zero 40 5G specifications

The Infinix Zero 40 5G has a 6.78-inch 3D-curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage along with 12GB virtual RAM. It has a 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP sensor at the back. The smartphone also supports front and rear 4K vlogging and it has a dedicated GoPro mode.

On the software front, the Infinix Zero 40 5G runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5 out of the box. It will get three years of Android security updates. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 20W wireless charging support.

Infinix Zero 40 5G: what’s new?

The Infinix Zero 40 5G succeeds the Zero 30 5G that launched in India last September. Infinix has changed the design going for a circular camera on the new model. The ultra-wide camera has been upgraded from a 13MP sensor to a 50MP sensor on the Infinix Zero 40 5G. The battery capacity remains the same but the fast charging has been reduced to 45W from 68W. The upgrade here is the addition of wireless charging support which is missing on the Zero 30 5G.
