Infinix Zero Flip, Zero 40 5G spotted on BIS, India launch imminent | Tech Tips



Infinix is gearing up to launch its first foldable phone, the Infinix Zero Flip. Alongside this clamshell-style foldable the company will also release its Infinix Zero 40 5G. These devices have visited BIS, TUV, Google Play Console, FCC, and NBTC certification websites, revealing key hardware configuration details. Let’s take a look at what we have learnt so far about the Infinix Zero Flip and Infinix Zero 40 5G from their listings. 


Infinix Zero Flip, Zero 40 5G BIS certification

  • Folks over at thetechoutlook unearthed the Infinix Zero Flip on the BIS certification website with the model number X6962.

  • The Infinix Zero 40 5G also tagged along on the BIS listing with the model number x6861.
  • Besides the model number, the certifications don’t reveal any hardware configurations or designs of these Infinix smartphones.
  • However, these BIS listings suggest that the Infinix Zero Flip and Infinix Zero 40 5G will soon launch in India.

Infinix Zero Flip, Zero 40 5G: what do we know so far?

As previously reported, the Infinix Zero Flip visited the FCC and TUV certification websites, revealing key specifications of the device. It will ship with a double battery setup of 3,140mAh and 1,180mAh cells, combining a total of 4,590mAh battery capacity. The device will also support 70W fast charging and feature at least 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Moreover, the Infinix Zero Flip also popped up on the NBTC certification website with model number X6962, suggesting that the device will launch in Thailand. 

As for the Infinix Zero 40 5G, the device’s Google Play Console listing revealed that it will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ulitmate SoC paired with Mali G610 GPU. Moreover, it will feature an FHD+ (1080×2436) resolution display with a pixel density of 480 DPI. The TUV listing of the Inifinx Zero 40 5G reveals that the device will pack a 4,900mAh battery at the helm.
