Xiaomi MIX Flip’s global launch has been officially confirmed by the company CEO, Lei Jun. The foldable was launched in China as Xiaomi’s first clamshell-folding phone. There were rumours of the Xiaomi MIX Flip launching globally and leaks on its pricing as well. Xiaomi has now confirmed the global launch but hasn’t revealed the date yet.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on X announced that the MIX Flip foldable phone will launch in global markets this month. Jun had first teased in July asking fans if they would want the MIX Flip in their region and has now updated the post confirming the launch. Xiaomi MIX Flip stands out for its large 4-inch cover display, which only the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra offers in global markets including India.

Xiaomi MIX Flip global pricing (leaked)
The Xiaomi MIX Flip is tipped to cost EUR 1,299 (Rs 1,21,162 approx) and PHP 64,999 (Rs 97,917 approx) in the Philippines. The MIX Flip is also expected to launch in Malaysia where it might cost MYR 4,300 (Rs 85,789 approx). There’s no word on the Indian pricing yet and if the foldable will even launch here. For context, in China, the Xiaomi MIX Flip costs CNY 6,499 (Rs 77,068 approx).
If launched here in India, it would compete with the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, which costs Rs 99,999, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is priced at Rs 1,09,999.

Xiaomi MIX Flip specifications
- Display: The Xiaomi MIX Flip features a 6.86-inch 1.5K LTPO main display and a 4-inch 1.5K LTPO cover display. Both displays have a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness.
- Processor: The Xiaomi foldable is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
- Battery, charging: It packs a 4,780mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
- Cameras: The Xiaomi MIX Flip has a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a 50MP telephoto camera. The foldable has a 32MP front camera inside the main display.
- Software: The foldable boots Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.
