- Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun posted a video on X showing off the HyperConnect feature in action.
- The feature is claimed to allow sharing of files with Apple products like iPhones, iPads, and even MacBooks.
- In the video, Lei Jun was seen transferring a photo from a Xiaomi 15 Pro (running HyperOS 2) to an iPhone, iPad, and MacBook with just a single click.

- The Apple products were displayed in the share menu on the Xiaomi 15 Pro, making it very convenient for sharing. It looks like an initial setup might be required for the feature.
- The Xiaomi HyperConnect feature seems to be limited to the HyperOS 2 China version at the moment. The company hasn’t mentioned details regarding the global availability of the function yet.
- OnePlus also introduced a similar sharing feature with the new OxygenOS 15. But this requires Apple iPhone users to install the ‘O+ Connect’ app, which then allows for sharing of photos between OnePlus and Apple iPhones.
The top executive also shows Apple Keynotes files can be directly opened on Xiaomi 15 Pro with the HyperConnect feature. The feature can also mirror the Xiaomi phone’s screen on any MacBook. It works over Wi-Fi and requires both devices to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
In the video, Lei Jun notes that the company had a goal to build cars that are seamlessly compatible with Apple devices. He said that most of the Xiaomi SU7 (the company’s first EV car that launched around half a year ago) owners used Apple devices. This gave the company the idea to make its devices compatible with Apple products and the result seems to be HyperConnect.
