Xiaomi 15 Pro has been spotted on China’s 3C certification and this reveals the fast charging details of the phone. This comes ahead of the expected launch on local soil in October alongside the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The phones will be arriving as successors to the flagship top-end Xiaomi 14 lineup and be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Xiaomi 15 Pro fast charging details revealed
- The Xiaomi 15 Pro appeared on the 3C certification with the model number 2410DPN6CC and this reveals the fast charging details of the phone.
- The phone is expected to come with 90W fast charging support.
- The listing confirms the power adapter will bear the model number MDY-14-EC and there’s a clear mention of 90W max.
- For comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Pro came with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support. This means the successor is seeing a slight downgrade.
Xiaomi 15 Pro: what we know so far
- Display: The Xiaomi 15 Pro is expected to come with a 6.74-inch 2K OLED micro-curved display, a 120Hz refresh rate and ultra-narrow bezels. There could be Corning Gorilla Glass layer protection.
- Processor: The Xiaomi phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The SoC is yet to be announced officially. The predecessor came with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC last year.
- OS: The Xiaomi 15 Pro could come with the new HyperOS 2 right out of the box and this should be based on Android 15 OS.
- Cameras: The handset could feature a 50MP OmniVision OV50K primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera with up to 5x optical zoom. To recall, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has a 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50MP 3.2X telephoto camera.
- Battery: There are rumours the Xiaomi 15 Pro might house a large 6,000mAh battery, which is a significant jump from the 4,880mAh cell. Despite this, the phone will measure 8.5mm in thickness and weigh 220 grams.
- The phone is expected to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP69 rating.
