Xiaomi 15 specifications have leaked online ahead of its rumoured launch in October. This smartphone is part of Xiaomi’s flagship series, which is expected to include a Pro variant as well. It’s not the first that we’re learning about the Xiaomi 15 but this leak gives us a good idea of what to expect from the smartphone.
Xiaomi 15 specifications leaked
- Xiaomi 15 specifications tipped by Yogesh Brar suggest that the smartphone will feature a 6.36-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 also has the same display hardware.
- The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. This is the upcoming flagship chipset from Qualcomm launching later this month. It’s rumoured that it could be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite and not the 8 Gen 4 this time.
- Xiaomi 15 is also tipped to house a 50MP OV50H primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3.2x telephoto lens. The phone will come with Leica optics like its predecessor.
- The smartphone could house a 5,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
- On the software front, it will most likely run HyperOS 2.0 with Android 15 layered on top. It’s also tipped to come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Based on this leak, the Xiaomi 15 will come with these upgrades: chipset, telephoto, and battery. The smartphone is expected to offer other upgrades as well. There’s no word on the phone’s design but leaked renders of the Xiaomi 15 Pro suggest what changes we can expect from the vanilla model. The Xiaomi 15 Pro looks quite the same as the 14 Pro featuring flat edges and a square camera module. The only difference is that the flash now sits outside the sensors.

The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to launch in China first followed by a release in other markets including India. Xiaomi has yet to announce the launch date of its flagship series.
