The Xiaomi 15 was recently spotted on BIS, suggesting that the India launch of Xiaomi’s latest flagship may be imminent. Now, the global variant of the phone has appeared on US’ FCC certification site, which hints at some key details, and suggests the phone might go official soon globally.

Xiaomi 15 FCC certification hints at global launch

• Spotted by 91mobiles Indonesia, the Xiaomi 15 has appeared on the FCC certification site with the model number 24129PN74G.
• The model number of the phone, 24129PN74I, matches the model number listed on BIS, where I and G stand for India and global, respectively.
• The listing reveals that the global variant will likely be offered in two storage models, consisting of 12GB RAM along with 256GB and 512GB internal storage options.

• Notably, the Xiaomi 15 has been launched in China in four storage variants, with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.
• As per the listing, the global variant of the Xiaomi 15 will operate HyperOS 2.0 and support wireless charging, similar to the Chinese variant.
• No other details have surfaced through the FCC certification site. However, it hints that the Xiaomi 15 might be introduced globally.

Notably, the global variant of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 smartphone had already appeared on Geekbench following the phone’s launch in China last month at a starting price of CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 52,400).

• Chipset: The Xiaomi 15 packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is also seen on the latest flagships like the iQOO 13 and onePlus 13.
• Rear cameras: It features a 50MP LightHunter 900 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP 3.2x telephoto lens.
• Front camera: The front of the Xiaomi 15 is equipped with a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 front sensor.
• Battery, charging: The Xoami 15 houses a 5,400mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
