Vivo’s Jovi V50 Lite appears on Geekbench, launch could be imminent | Tech Tips
Recently, three new Jovi-branded phones appeared on the GSMA database with their marketing names. This hinted at a possible new sub-brand from Vivo. The name ‘Jovi’ is used by Vivo for its system applications, mainly AI Assistant. Among the three was ‘V2440’, which has the marketing name Jovi V50 Lite. Days later, the same phone has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmark.

Not much is known about the Vivo’s Jovi V50 Lite at the moment but it was earlier reported that Jovi brand phones could be limited to China, at least initially. It is also said that they might arrive as rebranded Vivo phones. If this is indeed true, there are chances the Jovi V50 Lite might arrive as Vivo V50 Lite in certain global markets.
Alongside the V50 Lite, two other phones were also spotted on the GSMA database: the Jovi V50 and Jovi Y39 and they bear model numbers: V2427 and V2444, respectively. Vivo hasn’t mentioned anything about the new sub-brand officially and none of the three phones have debuted in any market yet.
