Following the successful launch of the Vivo Y200 series phones in several markets, the smartphone brand is reportedly working on the Vivo Y300 series phones. While Vivo is yet to reveal details regarding the Vivo Y300 series, a publication has spotted the Vivo Y300 5G on the IMEI certification site months after spotting the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G on the same certification site. Here are the expected details of the Vivo Y300 series phones.


Vivo Y300 series IMEI details

  • As per a report by Gizmochina, a smartphone has appeared on the IMEI with the V2416 model number, which is expected to be the Vivo Y300 5G.
  • On the other hand, the publication in June spotted the alleged Vivo Y300 Pro 5G on the same certification site with the model number V2402.
  • Notably, the listing hasn’t revealed any details regarding these upcoming smartphones.

Vivo Y300 series: what to expect

Though not confirmed, the Vivo Y300 series smartphones are expected to be mid-range. Also, their specifications and features are currently under wraps. It is expected that we might come across some leaks and speculations regarding these upcoming phones in the coming weeks or days.

However, to understand what the Vivo Y300 series phones might look like, let us look at the specs of the Vivo Y200 5G and Y200 Pro 5G. To recall, the Vivo Y200 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs Rs 21,999, while the Pro variant was announced for Rs 24,999.

While the Y200 5G boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz flat AMOLED display, the Pro variant has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D 120Hz curved AMOLED display. The Y200 5G includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. Meanwhile, the Y200 Pro features the more enhanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.


The Vivo Y200 series phones sport a 64MP main camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. They pack a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Furthermore, the regular variant comes with a 4,800mAh battery, while the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G offers a 5,000mAh battery. They both have 44W wired fast charging support.
