Vivo Y300 key specifications, pricing surface before next week’s India launch | Tech Tips
The Vivo Y300 is set to launch in India on November 21st. Yesterday, the brand revealed its design. Now, 91mobiles Hindi has leaked the key specifications and pricing of the upcoming offering. The smartphone will arrive as the successor to the last year’s Vivo Y200. The Y300 will also be the second addition to the Y300 series after the Plus model that debuted in the country last month.
Vivo Y300 key specs, pricing leaked
- As per the report, the Vivo Y300 will be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, which is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 on the Y200.
- It will be offered in 8GB +128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations.
- The smartphone will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen integrated with a fingerprint scanner. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,200 nits peak brightness.
- The device will reportedly be backed by a 5,000mAh battery cell with support for 80W charging. Its predecessor had a slightly smaller 4,800mah unit with 44W charging.
- On the optics front, the Vivo Y300’s dual camera setup is said to comprise a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. It will have an upgraded 32MP selfie snapper.
- The smartphone’s Aura Light LED will offer three brightness levels along with colour adjustment. The Y300 will also get Vivo’s AI suite of AI-driven features.
- The leak also reveals that the Vivo Y300’s base variant will cost between Rs 21,000 and Rs 22,000. Meanwhile, the higher configuration is tipped to be priced between Rs 24,000 and Rs 25,000.
The Vivo Y300 is already confirmed to be available in Titanium Silver, Phantom Purple, and Emerald Green colours. It will have a flat frame design and a pill-shaped camera island on the back panel. The upcoming offering is also teased to pack Gemini AI. Reports suggest that the Vivo Y300 is a rebranded version of the Vivo V40 Lite that is available in select global markets.
