Vivo X200, X200 Pro India launch date revealed | Tech Tips

The Vivo X200 series India launch date has been officially revealed. This comes after the dedicated microsites on Flipkart and Amazon went live, confirming key details. They were originally announced in China back in October and recently debuted globally in Malaysia. The lineup will include the standard Vivo X200 and X200 Pro but not the X200 Pro Mini, which seems limited to Chinese markets.

Vivo X200 series India launch is December 12th at 12 noon IST. To recall, the Vivo X100 lineup debuted in the country in January this year. This means the successors are launching early.

On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Abhishek Yadav claims the Vivo X200 series’ first sale will happen on December 19th i.e. one week after the launch.

Vivo X200 series specifications

The Vivo X200 series specifications in India should remain similar to global models. 

• Display: The Vivo X200 sports a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro gets a bigger 6.78-inch display with a 0.1Hz-120Hz dynamic refresh rate.
• Processor: The Vivo X200 series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 flagship chipset. In comparison, the predecessors shipped with Dimensity 9300.
• OS: Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 custom skin.
• Vivo X200 Pro cameras: The Vivo X200 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto lens with a V3+ imaging chip.
• Vivo X200 cameras: The Vivo X200 has a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens.
• Both phones feature a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Battery, charging: The Vivo X200 packs a 5,800mAh battery, while the X200 Pro gets a 6000mAh cell. There is a 90W wired fast charging support. 
• In comparison, the Vivo X100 has a 5000mAh cell, while the X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery.

We should know the Vivo X200 series price in India and any bank offers when they launch next week. In Malaysia, the vanilla model has a starting price of 3,599 Malaysian Ringgit (around Rs 72,200), while the Pro model costs 4,699 Malaysian Ringgit (approx Rs 94,200). The Vivo X100 series launched at Rs 63,999 in India.
