Vivo X200, X200 Pro global launch date confirmed | Tech Tips
After teasers, the global launch date of the Vivo X200 series has been officially confirmed. This comes after the phones debuted in China last month. Only the standard Vivo X200 and the Vivo X200 Pro will be heading to global markets, not the Vivo X200 Pro Mini. The listings on Vivo Malaysia reveal the key hardware details.
The Vivo X-lineup is the brand’s flagship offering with superior cameras and premium performance. The Vivo X100 series started at Rs 63,999 in India.
Vivo X200, X200 Pro global launch date
- Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro will launch globally on November 19th i.e. tomorrow in Malaysia at 4 PM (1:30 PM IST).
- The product page on the Vivo Malaysia website reveals the vanilla Vivo X200 will be available in Aurora Green and Midnight Black colours. Meanwhile, the Vivo X200 Pro is listed in Titanium Grey and Midnight Black colours.
- Currently, only the 16GB + 512GB combination is listed on the Vivo website.
- Pre-orders for the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro will be up between November 19th and November 22nd.

- The Vivo listing also mentions free gifts with the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro, possibly for those who are pre-ordering.
- Customers pre-ordering the Vivo X200 get a free laptop backpack/Vivo TWS 3e, Vivo Care+ extended warranty/screen crack warranty and a 30 percent discount on the Vivo Watch 3 smartwatch along with the Vivo X200.
- On the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro customers get a free laptop backpack/Vivo 50W vertical wireless charger. Other benefits are similar to Vivo X200.
Vivo X200, X200 Pro specifications, features
The dedicated product pages on the Vivo Malaysia website have listed the complete specifications of the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro before the launch. This reveals the global model specifications are identical to Chinese versions.
- Display: The vanilla Vivo X200 sports a 6.67-inch quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the X200 Pro has a slightly bigger 6.78-inch screen with a 0.1Hz-120Hz adaptive dynamic refresh rate.
- Processor: Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and are claimed to have scored over 3 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. In comparison, the predecessors came with Dimensity 9300.
- Memory: The phones are listed with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. There’s 16GB virtual RAM.
- OS: Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 out of the box.
- Cameras: The Vivo X200 Pro features a 50MP VCS Ultra True Colour main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 200MP (compared to 50MP on the predecessor) Zeiss APO telephoto sensor. There’s a V3+ imaging chip on board.
- Meanwhile, the vanilla Vivo X200 has a 50MP VCS main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP Zeiss telephoto camera (Vivo X100 featured a 64MP lens). The phone has a V2 imaging chip.
- Front camera: There is a 32MP sensor on the front for selfies and video chats, similar to the predecessors.
- Others: The Vivo X200 has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, while the Vivo X200 Pro has a 3D ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor. Both phones have IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance. There’s also mention of Amplified Intelligence (AI).
- Battery: The Vivo X200 has a 5800mAh BlueVolt battery (an upgrade from a 5000mAh cell on the predecessor), while the Pro variant gets a bigger 6,000mAh BlueVolt cell (an upgrade from a 5,400mAh battery on the X100 Pro).
- Both phones have 90W wired charging and there’s 30W wireless charging on the Pro model. In comparison, the Vivo X100 series featured up to 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
- Dimensions: The Vivo X200 Pro measures 162.36 X 75.95 X 8.49mm and weighs up to 228 grams, while the X200 comes at 160.27 X 74.81 X 7.99mm and weighs up to 202 grams.
Vivo X200 series India launch timeline is not officially revealed but the company will probably be introducing the phones in the country in December.
