Vivo X200 series global launch officially teased | Tech Tips
The Vivo X200 series already debuted in China and includes three models: the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini. The phones have appeared on various certification platforms, hinting at an imminent global launch. Now, Vivo has officially teased the X200 series’ global launch and shared a poster image to that extent. The phones seem to be heading to Malaysia first.
The Vivo X200 is a flagship lineup from the brand that succeeds the Vivo X100 lineup. The phones are expected to launch in India as well, probably towards the end of the year or early 2025.
Vivo X200 series global launch teased
- The teaser image (via) reads ‘Vivo X200 series’ so it isn’t clear how many models in the lineup will be debuting.
- The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro appeared on the SIRIM certification but the Vivo X200 Pro Mini hasn’t. This suggests the compact flagship may not be coming to Malaysia, at least for the moment.
- While the exact date is not revealed at the moment, there are speculations that the launch might happen later this month considering the poster says ‘Coming Soon’.
- The teaser image confirms the flagships will have Zeiss optics much like the Chinese variants.
- The Vivo X200 series is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, a follow-up to the Dimensity 9300 SoC.
The Vivo X200 series was previously spotted on the Bluetooth SIG, NCC, and other major certification platforms. All these hints that the brand is preparing to expand the phones to various other markets in the near future. 91mobiles reported the Vivo X200 series launch timeline, which said the phone will be unveiled in India by November end or early December. If this is indeed in the planning, we should come across teasers/posters shortly.
