Vivo X200 global launch imminent, appears on Bluetooth SIG certification | Tech Tips
Following the launch in China last month, the Vivo X200 series seems to be gearing up to launch in global markets soon. The lineup includes three models: the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. The Vivo X200 Pro was recently spotted on the NCC. Now, the vanilla Vivo X200 appeared on the Bluetooth SIG platform, suggesting an imminent launch.
The Vivo X200 is a flagship offering from the brand that promises to offer top-notch performance and an impressive set of cameras that are tuned with Zeiss optics.
Vivo X200 spotted on Bluetooth SIG
- The Bluetooth SIG certification (via TheTechOutlook) mentions the marketing name and the model number V2415.
- Since the Vivo X200 already launched in China, we already know it offers Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
- The Bluetooth SIG appearance comes after the vanilla Vivo X200 was spotted on the SIRIM platform with the same model number.
- This indicates that Vivo is planning on expanding the X200 lineup across major markets globally in the days to come.
The Vivo X200 Pro was spotted on the NCC platform recently and this had the images of the phone and accessories. Last month, we exclusively reported the Vivo X200 series India launch timeline. The company is expected to introduce the phones in the country by November end or early December.
It isn’t clear whether all three models in the Vivo X200 series will make their way to the Indian market at the moment. To recall, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro were launched in India earlier this year but the Vivo X100 Ultra, which debuted in May never made it to the country.
All three models in the Vivo X200 are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC and claim to bring upgraded cameras, which are tuned by Zeiss lens. We should learn the global and Indian launch dates in the days to come.
