Shortly after revealing the Vivo X200 design and colours, the brand has now unveiled the front design. The Vivo X200 is also compared with the X100 confirming some key design changes. The Vivo X200 series is launching on October 14th and it’s expected to include the Vivo X200 Pro and possibly a Vivo X200 Mini as well. The launch will take place in China with a global release expected later.

Vivo X200 front design revealed

  • The Vivo X200 design was shared (via) on Weibo by the brand’s Product Manager Han Boxiao who also revealed the back design last week.
  • The image shows the Vivo X200 alongside the X100 showing a complete design change. This time, Vivo has opted for flat edges like the Galaxy S24 series. The Vivo X200 has curved edges and a curved display.
  • The Vivo X200 will come with a flat display and very thin bezels. The antenna bands are visible on the sides running along the metal frame. 
  • Although the Vivo X200 will move to a flat display, rumours suggest the Pro model will come with a curved screen. 

The Vivo X200 is confirmed to launch in two colours: Blue with a wave-like pattern and White with a textured back. Rumours suggest it will come in Titanium, and Midnight Black colours as well. It has a large circular camera module like the X100 series. The earlier teaser also confirmed ZEISS branding for the X200’s cameras. 


According to previous leaks, the Vivo X200 is expected to feature a compact 6.3-inch display. However, the teaser shows the phone is the same size as the Vivo X100, which has a 6.78-inch display. There is a ‘Mini’ model rumoured so it could be this device as well.

Vivo X200 series: what to expect

  • Display: The Vivo X200’s 6.3-inch display could be an OLED LTPO 1.5K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo X200 Pro is said to feature a 6.7 or 6.8-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved display.
  • Processor: The Vivo X200 series is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. MediaTek has yet to officially launch this chipset, which will be from the flagship lineup. 
  • Cameras: The Vivo X200 is tipped to feature a 50MP OIS primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 70mm periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The Pro model might get a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.
  • Battery, charging: The Vivo X200 is tipped to pack a 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired charging, while the X200 Pro could get a bigger 6,000mAh battery.
