Vivo X200 design revealed via alleged sketch, shows flat display and large camera module | Tech Tips
The Vivo X200 series looks to be gearing up to launch in China in the next couple of months. There could be multiple models in the series like the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro. Ahead of the announcement, the Vivo X200 series phone’s sketch has surfaced online and this reveals the complete design of the phone.
Vivo X200 will arrive as successor to Vivo X100
- The sketch image shared by DigitalChatStation shows flat edges on the front, which makes us believe it could be the vanilla X200 and not the Pro. This is considering the latter may have curved edges.
- The design in the sketch matches with the alleged live image that surfaced a few weeks ago.
- The phone appears to have a center punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and narrow bezels to fit more content on the screen.
- The image shows a large circular camera module on the back and this might house at least three sensors. We also see the Zeiss logo cutout placed in the center.
- The LED flash module is present separately in the top-right corner. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge.
Vivo X200: what do we know so far?
Reports suggest the Vivo X200 will have a small screen: 6.4-inch or 6.5-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution. In comparison, the Vivo X100 came with a 6.78-inch 1.5K display. Speculations are rife that the phone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC compared to Dimensity 9300 chipset.
The phone could house triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For context, the predecessor has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP telephoto sensor.
The Vivo X200 might house a 5,800mAh battery and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for security. This is a sizeable upgrade from a 5000mAh cell.
