Vivo V40e 5G spotted on Geekbench, could feature Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset | Tech Tips

Vivo’s V40 series debuted in India last month, and camera systems were co-developed in partnership with ZEISS. Now, a more affordable version of this series could be unveiled soon: the Vivo V40e. The device has already been spotted on multiple certification websites but this time a Geekbench listing has given us hints on the processor powering this device.

Vivo V40e Geekbench listing

Vivo V40e has been listed on Geekbench with the model number “V2418.” This is the same model that was spotted on the IMEI database a couple of months back. The device scored a multi-core score of 2,334 points and a single-core test score of 916.

The specs, such as the “parrot” codename, coincide with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. This is the same chipset featured on the phone’s predecessor, Vivo V30e. However, it could be slightly overclocked at 1.96GHz based on the Geekbench listing compared to the usual 1.8GHz speed. Further, the device could feature at least 8GB of RAM.

Vivo V40e could launch in September in the Indian market. To recall, the Vivo V40 series’ starts at a price tag of Rs. 34,999 for the vanilla model in 8/128GB configuration. The Vivo V40e could cost around Rs. 30,000. We expect the phone to feature the usual Vivo V-series quirks like an aura light flash, a thinner design, and a camera system focusing on portrait photos.
