Vivo T3 Ultra BIS, Bluetooth SIG certifications suggest imminent launch in India | Tech Tips

Ahead of the Vivo T3 Pro’s launch in India tomorrow, we have some news about its yet-to-be-revealed big brother, the Vivo T3 Ultra. The Ultra model has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Bluetooth SIG certification listings. This hints at the phone’s imminent launch, especially in India.

Vivo T3 Ultra BIS, Bluetooth SIG listing

Vivo T3 Ultra has been spotted (by TheTechOutLook) on the Bluetooth SIG website with the V2426 model number. The phone with this model number was previously spotted on the GSMA/IMEI database. So, the phone’s inching close to its debut.

India could be one of its initial stops as the V2426 has been found on India’s BIS registry. The Vivo phone is now approved to be sold in the country.

Unfortunately, that’s about all we know for now. Neither reveals any specs details though. It could perhaps launch in September.

But, since Vivo T3 Pro is launching tomorrow, let’s revise its details in the meantime:

Vivo T3 Pro specifications (expected)

  • Vivo T3 Pro could have a brighter curved display (with 4,500 nits peak brightness) than the Vivo T2 Pro.
  • The rear camera setup could have an 8MP ultrawide snapper, which would be more welcome than the token 2MP secondary camera on the predecessor.
  • Under the hood, this phone could wield a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.  an upgrade over the T2 Pro’s Dimensity 7200 chipset. This chip has a higher AnTuTu score than the Dimensity 7200 inside the T2 Pro.
  • Even the battery size is expected to be 5,500mAh, which would be plenty more than the 4,600mAh cell within the T2 Pro.

As for design, the Vivo T3 Pro could have a curvy figure with a metallic frame. We are looking forward to seeing Sandstone Orange and Emerald Green colours. It could land in the Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 price range getting competition from the likes of OnePlus Nord CE4 and Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. Let’s see.
