Vivo S20 series design officially teased, pre-reservations begin in China | Tech Tips
Vivo is expected to launch the S20 series smartphones in China soon. The lineup will include the standard and pro variants that will arrive as the successors to the S19 and S19 Pro that released earlier in May this year. Vivo has already started teasing the upcoming offerings along with opening the pre-reservations with various benefits for interested buyers. Read on to know all the details below.
Vivo S20 series design teased, pre-reservations open
- As per a Weibo post, the Vivo S20 series is teased to retain the same design as its predecessor.
- It has a pill-shaped camera module on the rear with a circular island that houses two sensors. There is an Aura Light flash below.
- The upcoming offerings are confirmed to feature optical image stabilisation (OIS).
- The Vivo S20 series features a flat frame.
- The teaser poster shows the device in a Gold shade with gradient pattern on the back panel.
- Vivo has already started taking pre-reservations of the S20 series in China through its official website.
- Those who pre-book will be eligible for a gift worth NT$278, but it is limited to 2,500 participants.
- The gift includes a 44W charger and one year extended warranty.
- Additionally, those who book the phone for free have the chance to win prizes like the Vivo S20 phone, Vivo TWS 4, Vivo Pad 3, or 100 Vivo credit points.
Vivo is expected to announce the launch date of the S20 series in the coming days. The S20 and S20 Pro will be slightly different from each other. The former will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC whereas the latter could be equipped with Dimensity 9300. The Pro model is also tipped to come with a periscope camera. Vivo’s S-series phones debut as rebranded V-series in the global markets. The S20 series is expected to be rebadged V50. Its predecessor, the Vivo V40 lineup launched in India in August this year.
