Reliance Jio has announced a lucrative offer for select JioFiber and AirFiber plans. The oil to telecom conglomerate is bundling a free 2-year YouTube Premium membership for eligible postpaid subscribers. The offer is valid for users who are active on five plans during this period. Anybody who spends significant time on YouTube knows how annoying it is to come across ads without a premium subscription of the popular video-sharing platform. With Jio’s bumper offer, eligible users can now benefit from YouTube Premium at no additional cost.

For those unaware, JioFiber and AirFiber are broadband internet services from Reliance Jio. The former is a fixed-line broadband service that requires a wired setup and physical infrastructure. Meanwhile the AirFiber is a wireless solution leveraging 5G technology for providing internet access on-the-go. It is a plug and play portable device that is ideal where areas lack fibre infrastructure. 

YouTube Premium plans and details

Last August, YouTube hiked the price of its Premium plans by 58 percent. The individual and student monthly plans now cost Rs 149 and Rs 89 respectively. The family plan costs Rs 299. The Premium subscription offers an ad-free viewing experience without any interruption. Users can also download content for offline viewing and there’s also an option to play the video in the background while multitasking on your device.
