Now, before it debuts, the foldable has surfaced in a leaked render.

This could be the design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition

  • The main difference between the two is the Special Edition model appears to be slightly thinner than the standard Z Fold 6.

  • Like the much-rumoured Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Special Edition also may have rounded corners for a more comfortable fit in hands. The phone in general has a flat frame.
  • The volume rocker and power button are present on the right frame, which looks to be made of metal. The latter could double up as a fingerprint sensor.
  • The main cover screen has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. Since the screen is turned off and all black, we can’t comment on the thickness of the bezels.
  • The back panel of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a brushed aluminium design but the report says there are chances that it could have a glass back.
  • We see a protruding rectangular module on the back panel to house the triple camera sensors. There is an LED flash right adjacent to the main sensor.
  • The render doesn’t show the main display of the phone and the hinge.
