While Samsung is gearing up to unveil its flagship Galaxy S25 series later this week, the South Korean brand is also working on its Galaxy A-lineup phones and also new Galaxy tablets. As per a new report, the upcoming tablets are said to be the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, Galaxy Tab S10 FE, S10 FE+ and their chipset details have surfaced. The first one is a rugged offering and a follow-up to the Galaxy Tab Active 5 that was released last January. The other two will be the successors to the Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ that debuted in October 2023. 

Samsung reportedly working on three new Galaxy tablets

  • Android Authority citing a code (via) obtained from reliable sources found that the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro will arrive in WiFi-only and 5G versions. 
  • It will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor that has a model number SM7635 and was announced in August last year. To recall, the Tab Active4 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 778G.

  • The report notes that this same chipset will also power the XCover 7 Pro. Since, the Tab Active5 and XCover 7 were announced at the same time, Samsung could launch their Pro variants together
  • Another code reveals Samsung working on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series. 
  • The S10 FE and FE+ will also be available in WiFi-only and 5G variants. 
  • Both tablets are tipped to be equipped with Exynos 1580 chipset that was released last October. This is an upgrade compared to the Exynos 1380 that powers the S9 FE duo. 

The rest of the details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy tablets remain a mystery. Previously, the Tab S10 FE series was listed on the brand’s official website in the US hinting at a launch in the second quarter of this year. The S10 FE’s batteries were also spotted on the BIS certification website. The exact launch timeline of the devices remain unclear. It’s worth noting that Samsung does not offer the rugged Tab Active in India. The Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ were launched at a starting price of Rs 36,999 and Rs 46,999.
