Samsung The Galaxy S25 series launch is highly anticipated to take place early next year. The launch date has been tipped or leaked a couple of times and this new report also claims more or less the same timeframe. What it gives more is the likely sale and pre-booking dates. Samsung Galaxy S25 series release date, pre-booking date (expected)

• As per the Korean publication, FNNews, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra will launch on January 23rd at 3:00 AM (KST) in South Korea. In India, that would be January 22nd at 11:30 PM (IST).
• The reservation window will be open between January 24th and February 3rd.
• Further, the phones could go on sale on February 7th. Because of the time zone differences, the global sale date could also be a day earlier, viz., February 6th.
• In India, the Galaxy S24 series hit the stores on January 31st. But, this time the same could happen a week later.
• As for the rumoured Galaxy S25 Slim edition, the phone could also be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The report doesn’t clearly tell the release timeline for the phone. Other reports suggest a later release. Let’s see.

Other Samsung Galaxy S25 series speculations

• Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 series could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
• The performance could be aided by 16 GB of RAM and 512GB/1TB storage. The increase in max RAM size from 12 GB (in Galaxy S24 Ultra) to 16 gigs here is possibly because of on-device AI demand.
• The ultrawide camera on the Ultra is also said to be upgraded to a 50MP sensor. The S24 Ultra’s ultrawide was of 12MP only.
• The phones could boot One UI 7 with more generative AI features and UI changes.

Last but definitely not least, the article predicts a possible price bump but expects it to be a small one.
