Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Elite, Dynamic AMOLED display, One UI 7 launched globally: price, specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series was officially announced at the company’s Unpacked event in San Jose, California. The new Samsung flagships are powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This time, all three models feature the Qualcomm chipset and in all markets, including India. Samsung has also scrapped the 8GB memory variant with 12GB as the only option now. Samsung Galaxy S25 series US price, availability

The Galaxy S25 starts at $799.99 while the S25+ will be available from $999.99. The Galaxy S25 Ultra starts from $1299.99.
Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available in Titanium Silverblue, Titanium Black, Titanium Whitesilver and Titanium Gray.
The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will be available in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icyblue and Mint colours.
The Galaxy S25 series will be up for pre-orders in the US from today and will start shipping February 7th.
All three phones will come with 6 months of Google’s Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series: What’s new?

The Galaxy S25 series succeeds last year’s Galaxy S24 lineup with incremental upgrades and more AI. The 12MP ultra-wide camera has been upgraded to a new 50MP one. Samsung has also baked in more camera-specific AI features like Audio Eraser which removes unwanted noise in videos and Virtual Aperture which gives users depth-of-field control.

Google’s Circle to Search, which debuted on the Galaxy S24 series has been upgraded in the S25 series. It can now quickly recognise phone numbers, emails, and URLs on your screen.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra has rounded edges as opposed to the sharp corners of the S24 Ultra. This should result in the phone being more comfortable to hold. That being said, the S25 Ultra’s display is slightly bigger from 6.8-inch to 6.9-inch in the new model. Samsung has also refreshed the colours for all phones replacing Violet and Yellow with Blue and Mint.
