Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ charging speeds spotted on China’s 3C certification site | Tech Tips
One by one, various Samsung Galaxy S25 series specifications are appearing on certification sites. The latest discovery by 91mobiles is the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+’s wired charging speeds on China’s 3C certification website. And like the Ultra’s charging spec spotted some days back, there’s not much different here compared to the Galaxy S24 and S24+’s charging capabilities. Well, the charging story has been the same for Samsung flagships in the last few years.
Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ charging speeds
As per the 3C listing, the SM-S9360 model (believed to be Galaxy S25+) sports 45W (15.0VDC, 3.0A) charging capability and the SM-S9310 (believed to be Galaxy S25) has a 25W (9.0VDC, 2.77A) charging speed.
If you recall, the Galaxy S24+ also sports 45W wired charging speed and Galaxy S24 features 25W charging capability.
So, as mentioned already, Samsung seems to be sticking to the same playbook as the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy S22 series. The S21+ supported only up to 25W wired charging and starting Galaxy S22 lineup, it has stayed unchanged.
Not rubbing salt in the wound, but the listing does mention that these phones won’t be shipping with an adapter in the box.
Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+: everything else we know
The similarities could extend to the way the phones look. The leaked renders suggest flat edges and rounded edges.
The batteries inside could also be the same as 4,900mAh in the Plus model (like Galaxy S24+) and 4,000mAh in the vanilla model (like the Galaxy S24). There could be some battery life improvements because of a Battery AI feature.
Both phones are very likely running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.
